Dear Stefan and Isa,

We wanted to send our greetings to you and our love. Your kindness will always be in our hearts. Tomorrow begins our holiest season, the High Holidays beginning with Rosh Hashana (the Jewish New Year). I am a rabbi and I am including you in one of my sermons for the holiday. If you would like, I would be happy to e-mail you a copy at some time.

We hope that you are well and we never tire to telling how you greeted us on that cold, windy day with hot tea and noodles.

May God keep you safe from harm, and if you ever come to the States, please let us know.

Love,
Carl and Sharon
